Am back with a bang, (bang I meant some pics in my post ;) ).....
As a child I had a dream of visiting the Green lady atleast once in my life, Green Lady with a crown, torch book and standing tall on the Hudson. Yeah, The Statue of Liberty. And my dream came true in Nov 2011, as soon as we came to New York the first place we visited is the Liberty statue.
What US has given me? Inspite of me giving up my job, this is the time for me to show my different Avatars, best MOM, best WIFE, best COOK, best CARE PROVIDER (ofcourse each and every girl is THE best to her family). After all these, I never regret of coming to the land of opportunities on H4.
I have seen few of my friends posting their pictures of gathering in their apartment, every weekend would be a fun and gaala time at someone's home and it would happen in each of their apartment in a round fashion. I met just two tamil speaking families in my apartment, was very excited that I would have a good time with them, as it was a vast Indian populated community apartment I kept a strong hope that I would find some friends for life. Gone with the wind, my hope withered as a dry leaf, Must thank 2 Telugu friends for the wonderful evenings spent with them (Both of them from Andhra and dont know Tamil).
Should count Niagara trip as the best trip and spent sweet times with Kris and family, Meena and family.
I am done with thanking my friends.I have had the best and worst times of my life here. Now moving on to NEW YORK, My best friend made a point that I should never feel that am alone without any friends in apartment, he did the best to make me and my son happy. We had and having a good shopping time, though he hates to shop,he accompanies me and takes care of the kid when am busy shopping. He is none other than my dear HUSBAND.
Though we did not own car initially, we rent a car every fortnight till we bought one. I roamed around New York till my heart content. Posted few pics for your visual treat.

I saw a man pulling cycle rickshaw near Times Square.
Then Holland Tunnel, Manhattan.
